Senior Executive, Logistic

Job Description:

• Conduct fortnightly ordering via Yamaha Global Order Portal, GOP for all motorcycle components based on production planning. Ensure stocks ordering quantity adhere to company stock holding policy.
• Liaise with Yamaha Motor Asia Center (YMAC) on part ordering discrepancies. Ensure order quantity are fulfilled as per planning. Determine HS code for tax exemption requirement for MIDA , Form D, and Free Trade Agreement.
• Response to ad-hoc part delivery to fulfill urgent production order. Ensure all air/ocean freight cargo on time depart and arrival at destination.
• Liaise with logistics service provider(LSP), and forwarding agent(FA) related to goods delivery, vessels booking, shipments, port clearance, haulages and external warehouse operation.
• Liaise with freight forwarder for efficient haulages , oversee coordination of container haulage from port to destination warehouses. 
• Ensure booking vessels are consistently confirmed according to shipping plan from logistic service provider.
• Supervise logistics operation for sea/land freight, forwarding operations, haulage for imported goods delivered from oversea sources to external/internal warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with relevant logistics laws and regulations, including tax exemption procedures, Custom requirements, SIRIM/MITI/MIDA requirements, port authority procedures, Hong Leong group policy and others.
• Maintain relationship with government officers MITI/MIDA/CUSTOM/SIRIM.
• Responsible for Custom related matters, including disposal of scrap parts, extension of warehouse space, license/permit application, tax matters, port clearance queries and others.
• Ensure and implement procedures using Dagang net system, E Permit Dagangnet (SIRIM) for steel pipe, E-Com (MCMC), Global Order Portal (GOP), LN system, and I-Globe.
• Support and participate in company management direction.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Logistics and Warehousing field.
• Preferably above 3 years of logistics and product planning experience.
• Detailed planning and organizing skills to achieve goal setting with planning and prioritization.
• Inventory management to control stock level ensuring no overstock and shortages.
• Transport operation management skills, to ensure efficiency freight forwarding, and haulages.
• Problem solving skill to anticipate and identifying problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to use computer system and software for data analysis and inventory tracking.
• Logistics and time management skills.
• Communication skills and interpersonal skills.
